Job description

Our client, a division of a larger transatlantic aerospace group, is a well-established aerospace business providing a range of Aerostructures, machined components and processing solutions for defence and civil aircraft projects. 


To support their expansion plans they are looking to strengthen their engineering resource by recruiting an Engineering Graduate to support the existing engineering and production teams. The trainee will eventually develop into a Manufacturing Engineer within the business after gaining training and development in the following. 

•Aerospace quality standards i.e. ISO 9001, NADCAP and AS9100 
•New Product Introduction and capability studies 
•CAD/CAM and CMM programming 
•Jig and Fixture tooling design and development 
•Aerostructure sub assembly, componentry and machined products 
•Technical customer liaison 


Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will be aligned with a Manufacturing engineer who will support your training and development throughout your early career. 

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an Engineering Graduate with some industrial experience and a minimum BEng of 2:1. 

Ideally you will have some working knowledge of 3D CAD, NC and CMM programming, aerospace standards and continuous improvement tools and techniques.
