In pictures: Devastating scenes at MH17 crash site in Ukraine

Pro-Russian separatists holding the area of eastern Ukraine where Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 crashed on Thursday have vowed to allow international investigators free access to the crash site.

Meanwhile, world leaders have demanded an international investigation into the crash, which killed all 298 people on board.
Kiev and Moscow have blamed each other for a tragedy that has stoked tensions between Russia and the West.


One US official said Washington strongly suspected the Malaysian Airlines Boeing 777 was downed by a sophisticated surface-to-air missile fired by pro-Russian separatists in Ukraine.
