**Cabin Crew Course 22nd September 2014**
McGinley Aviation are currently recruiting for exceptional individuals to operate as Cabin Crew, in all ranks, for Virgin Atlantic Little Red based at London Heathrow Airport. Our next training course is taking place on 22nd September 2014. Would you like to be part of our dedicated team?
To join us you will need to bring an understanding of customers' expectations, together with first-class communication, interpersonal and team working skills. Self motivated, flexible and adaptable, you'll have a professional, positive attitude to work and solid commercial awareness.
Your role will focus on maintaining the highest on board standards. As well as ensuring the safety of passengers and compliance with our stringent policies and procedures, you'll do whatever it takes to make every customer's flight a memorable one.
You will also need to meet the following basic standards:
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • 18 years of age or over
  • Eligible to live and work in the UK without restriction
  • Hold a valid EEA passport allowing unrestricted worldwide travel
  • Able to provide details of 3 contactable referees
  • Able to pass a 5 - year security background check*
  • 5'2" to 6'2" tall, weight-height in proportion
  • Able to swim 25m unaided and tread water for at least 1 minute
  • Visual acuity of 6/9 (aided or unaided)
  • Able and prepared to work shifts, unsociable hours, weekends, holidays and overnights
  • No tattoos/piercing visible when in uniform
  • Prepared to complete a medical questionnaire and medical examination
  • Be able and willing to report for duty within 90minutes of being contacted, while on reserve duty
*If you are a non UK Citizen, you will need to be in possession of a current police disclosure certificate from your home country. If you have lived outside the UK for more than 6 months you will also be required to hold a current police disclosure certificate from that country/ countries
If you are successful at interview, you will be required to undertake a intensive training course. This course will be for approximately 5 weeks and will take place in Dublin and the UK
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
  • Responsible for safety and standards throughout the cabin
  • Ensure compliance with company policy/procedures in accordance with the Aer Lingus Operations Manuals
  • Maintain consistently high on-board standards
  • Take and accept responsibility for meeting customers' expectations and provide outstanding customer service
  • Contribute as part of our Cabin Crew team to the delivery of reliable punctuality
  • Contribute as part of our Cabin Crew team to the delivery of excellent customer service
  • Specific duties and responsibilities as outlined in the Crew Operations Manual
