Bassaka Air is a scheduled and charter airline based in Phnom Penh providing both domestic and international services.

A320 Captains

Job Description:

• Making sure all information on the route, weather, passengers and aircraft is received;
• Using that information to create a flight plan, which details the altitude for the flight, route to be taken and amount of fuel required;
• Ensuring the fuel levels balance safety with economy and supervising the loading and fuelling of the aircraft;
• Making sure all safety systems are working properly;
• Briefing the cabin crew before the flight and maintaining regular contact throughout the flight;
• Carrying out pre-flight checks on the navigation and operating systems;
• Communicating with air traffic control before take-off and during flight and landing;
• Ensuring noise regulations are followed during take-off and landing;
• Understanding and interpreting data from instruments and controls;
• Making regular checks on the aircraft's technical performance and position, on weather conditions and air traffic during flight;
• Communicating with passengers using the public address system;
• Reacting quickly and appropriately to environmental changes and emergencies;
• Updating the aircraft logbook and writing a report at the end of the flight noting any incidents or problems with the aircraft.

Job Requirement

•Age - Below 55 yrs

•Minimum 400 total flying hours

•Preferred current on A320 type

•Valid CPL with Frozen ATPL (pref EASA approved)

•English proficiency minimum level 4

A320 First Officer

Job Description:

• Assist captain in flight preparation and operation of the aircraft
• Notify captain on any variations in standard flight operations
• Conduct Pre-flight inspection to ensure all navigation, safety and operating systems are working properly
• Support in take-offs and landings as directed by the captain
• Assist the captain in conducting the flight safely and efficiently.
• Assume the responsibility and authority of captain if necessary during the flight.
• Maintains current navigation manuals and charts.
• Prepare the weight and balance forms for each flight.
• Assist captain in flight operations and tasks.
• Supervise fueling, ground power unit, baggage loading and appropriate servicing of aircraft.
• Maintain regular contact with cabin crew to ensure safety, comfort, and convenience of all passengers.
• Communicate with air traffic control unit during take-off, flight and landing.
• Inspect aircraft operational and technical performance on regular basis.
• Act quickly and appropriately during environmental changes and emergencies to ensure passengers safety.
• Update aircraft logbook with flight issues and incidents
